Unique in his own way, Jask brings an Asiatic essence that emanates patience and the Far East ideals of love and togetherness to his DJ sets hoping to effect people in a positive. Aiming to touch Cielo with his unique blend of deep, melodic, jazzphonic and soulful sounds, Jask headlines Paradizo on Saturday October 9th. Amazingly he first started spinning when just 13, playing everything from new wave, electro and freestyle to soul, jazz, and hip-hop; a year later he would discover and embrace a passion for the house sounds bubbling out of Chicago and New York, and it’s that that still resonates with him today. One of the original players to introduce acid jazz to Florida, Jask went on to host Tampa’s longest running eclectic loungin’ night, while as a producer and remixer he’s worked with a plethora of notable labels including King Street, Soulfuric, Om and Defected.
