“DAVID BENNET COHEN” OF COUNTRY JOE & THE FISH AND SESU COLEMAN OF THE MAGIC TRAMPS TO PERFORM AT THE ROCKAWAY ARTISTS ALLIANCE WOODSTOCK REVIVAL, PAYING TRIBUTE TO WOODSTOCK 1969 TO BENEFIT THE ROCKAWAY ARTISTS ALLIANCE.
Organized by Allan Spielman of Retrofest in partnership with the Rockaway Artists Alliance, the RAA Woodstock Revival will celebrate the 41st Anniversary of the famous Woodstock Festival of 1969 with a musical lineup to sample the original Woodstock Music and Arts Festival experience. The show will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 11:00am – 10:00pm. Retrofest is an ongoing grassroots effort that recreates famous festivals of the late 60s through early 70s. All participants are donating their time.

The event is rain or shine, and will be held on two alternating stages on the RAA grounds at Fort Tilden , Rockaway. All proceeds will benefit the Rockaway Artists Alliance, Inc. The RAA is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) arts organization comprised of individuals who view the arts as vital to the health of our community. Formed in 1994, it is their mission to encourage and engage residents of Rockaway, particularly youth, in the arts and cultural activities.
