The second evening of the celebrations continue with a very special film screening, storytelling and a ceremonial circle with filmmaker Andrea Sadler and Mohawk Elder Rainbow Weaver.

First Nation people from North America and Japan , joined by volunteers from 13 countries traveled 4,000 km along the Sea of Japan on a ceremonial run finishing in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima .

The filmmaker Andrea Sadler, joined this run, with camera in hand, to present a remarkable physical and spiritual journey of a diverse group of all ages who carried the simple message, that All Life is Sacred. A stunning visual portrait of individuals committed to promoting peace, encouraging respect for the earth and all life, and to sharing the rich cultural diversity of the human race.

“I hear everywhere, sure, I want peace, but how? The Sacred Run, the lotus and the feather, provides a map, a marvelous map indeed! Take your passion for peace, sprinkle it with your interests and culture in a way that seduces others around the world to join in and embrace the love of all people, everywhere. Spread the word!” Patch Adams , MD , Founder of The Gesundheit Institute, Arlington , VA

“The Sacred Run, the lotus and the feather” is one of the most inspiring, powerful awesome depictions of a sacred journey of hope, love and beauty. It reminded me of the hope and beauty and gift that it is to be alive at such a time as this.” Pamela Rickenbach, www.dreamkeepers.net
