AYRE-Fashion For A Cause @ The Crane Arts Building Sunday, June 21st 2009-Philadelphia
The expectation…
The general complexion, character or condition… can you feel it in the AYRE
Sunday
June 21st join Identity Ink for the First Annual Fathers Day Memorial
event: AYRE- Fashion for Cause. More than a vision, more than a show,
more than a charity. We begin at five pm, with six designers, for a six
hundred person seating room only audience. Where a fashion show is
defined completely. Where high fashion and high street combine in
complete symmetry. Let us refresh your memory, while enlightening your
views.
The Crane Arts Building is located in the Northern
Liberties section of Philadelphia 400 North American Street.
Recently featured in GQ magazine for
its multi-faceted structure, artwork and decor. As well as a former
venue to past presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama’s elaborate
soirees. The fashionably upscale dress code for this event will not be
altered- no exceptions. We will not allow jeans, causal, athletic,
baggy, construction or ripped attire/footwear at all. Fashion and style
are a state of mind, not a state of labels or price tags. Your tour of
the site begins in the main foyer; here everyone is a star as the
paparazzi waits for the perfect photo op. Next; our lounge area
features a delectable dessert bar and gift bags provided by our
participating sponsors- C.O Bigelow, Sephora and Dior Cosmetics to name
a few. Imagine the spectacular view surrounded by one of a kind artwork
from local and worldly artists. Mingle with designers, stylists,
buyers, models, press, veterans, novices and lovers of fashion in
general. And lastly to the main event where…
A multimedia
spectrum of electricity pulses through your veins, and you can’t help
but to be a part of the experience. The runway begins on one path, and
then splits to the crowd as we bring the fashions up close and
personal. Floor to ceiling sheers hide the backstage magic, while
preparing our next models entrance. If you missed a highlighted piece,
look to the screen for the live action runway video. Your accompanying
fashion menu highlights our featured designer’s collections including;
Tommy Hilfiger, Laquan Smith, Ellie Owen, Walish Gooshe, Meezan Art
Couture,Goldenspun and Boyds. With Kanye West’s Official Tour Dj- Dj
Aktive accompanied by a live band providing the score, your soundtrack
brings memories of far away destinations and beautiful people. The ever
changing lights follow the music, illuminating fashion in motion. Come
along for the journey. Once the lights dim, the show begins.
This isn’t Identity Ink’s first foray into fashion: versed in music,
sports and community. This event combines these ideas with an extension
of Fashion week worldwide. Proceeds of this event will go directly to
the American Cancer Society in honor of our president’s father, who
lost his battle to the disease in 2006. It will be listed under the
Taalib Din Muslim Ansari Fund for cancer victims/survivors. This event
will commemorate his life, his love for fashion and his impact as a
father on Father’s Day 2009. We celebrate by giving hope to others. The
Society focuses on community cancer services, prevention,
detection/treatment and patient services. We chose to donate to the
American Cancer Society to assist them in their quest to save lives and
grant more birthday wishes annually- eleven million cancers survivors
and counting
