Our post Winter Music Conference party happens on Tuesday 27th as Nervous host their official Miami Recovery night with house heroes MK and Gina Turner providing the soundtrack. Marc Kinchen, or MK as his recording credits will attest, enjoyed a brace of Billboard Club Chart toppers with the anthems ‘Always’ and ‘Love Changes’ in 1993 and ‘94 respectively. Since the millennium he’s been based in Los Angeles working with such esteemed songwriting royalty as David Foster and Diane Warren, and producing and mixes hits for the likes of Celine Dion, Will Smith and Willow Smith. Most recently he’s produced tracks with Pitbull and the in demand electro junkie, Afrojack… Gina Turner is another DJ who works tirelessly at her trade turning a whole new generation onto the merits of a 4/4 beat. The living and breathing epitome of tech-house, she was born in New Jersey, going on to travel the world and marked her territory in every major city she frequented; most notably Boston and Los Angeles, where she became the first female DJ to be offered her own Scion Radio 17 Show. In recent times she’s collaborated with Laidback Luke to form Nouveau Yorican, while her own solo productions (some even produced by MK) have been meet with equal praise and A-list DJ support.
