The New York institution that is Turntables On The Hudson returns to Cielo on Friday 5th for another night of fun, funky vibes and great house music guests. Joining the crew, and back by popular demand are DJ Ino, Seph and Dredel. Amidst a residential slot at the now infamous House Café and the success of Telefunken, DJ Ino still finds the time to tour throughout his native Spain, the furthest corners of Europe, and the Americas. In the process he’s worked alongside such renowned talent as the Masters At Work, Frankie Knuckles, Jesse Saunders, Roger Sanchez, Pal Joey, Onsulade and David Alvarado… Born and raised in Brooklyn, Seph’s musical influences came straight from the founders of house; his vinyl collection grew to the point that DJing became inevitable. With hopes of hosting his own events he founded Funky Soul Rebels, a collective of DJs and producers who have been moving the dance community since 1994 and throwing some of the city’s most memorable parties… Gabriel “Dredel” Furman is a long way from the hip-hop roots that saw him perform as part of the legendary street dance crew the Dynamic Rockers. But with a passion for dance music he’s morphed into now playing the finest in house. On what’s always-noteworthy night in Cielo’s calendar, and with all TOTH parties, expect the trio to run the gamut of the musical spectrum from the classics to the future sound of house.
