DJ/Producer Carlos Sanchez has injected his inventive keyboard and production skill styling, with the help of some friends… to bring to you this exceptional Grown & Sexy Series EP Part 1. Dedicated to the grown and sexy, this E.P features a wonderfully, captivating mid-tempo grooves from a host of vocalist that Carlos hopes you appreciate as much as he does. The concept of the E.P. is to seduce the listener and dancer into a form of dance that has seems to have been forgotten. Groove oriented songs that showcase the artist vocal prowess.

Carlos begins with a piece by the Grammy Award Winning artist GREGORY PORTER entitled “LONELY ONE” from his “Water” CD. Also enlisted on this remix is Sami Dee from Paris who lent his talents to bring you the depth and earthy sound that this track offers up. Gregory’s vocals need no introduction after his successful dance hit “1960 What!”

You’ll be pleasantly delighted by what Carlos did to this KENNY LATTIMORE rendition of “COME DOWN IN TIME”. Kenny is no newcomer to the dance community and I believe that you’ll appreciate the musicality and smooth approach of this mix. Of course it wouldn’t be totally complete without a little help from Carlos’ friend and muse, Sting Int’l who engineered and mixed the Kenny track along with some solo keyboard work by the infamous Boyd Jarvis.

Additionally… A wonderfully jazzy and deep number by DWIGHT TRIBLE entitled “LITTLE SUNFLOWER” which is sure to delight those “Grown & Sexy” dancers who aspire to hauntingly beautiful vocals and thought provoking jazz instrumentation.

We all have a KEM remix that we love. You’ll want to add this beautiful song entitled “Matter of Time” with treatment from Sting Int’l to your list. This remix maintains it’s acoustic integrity and manages to give you room to twirl and get into what KEM is lamenting.

Finally wrapping up this hot and well thought out package is the lovely and exceptionally talented, Ledisi… offering her sensual vocal original “LOST AND FOUND” which is remixed lovingly by Carlos.
