Many concur he helped kick-start the Motorcity techno scene with the seminal single ‘Clear’ by his groundbreaking ‘80s electro group Cybotron. Cited by many as ground zero in techno’s birth this dark dystopias of the post-industrial steel city fused tight Kraftwerk-inspired algorithms to create a new breed of music that we’ve never looked back from. His majestic industrial sound and signature mix of ambient, jazz and techno centric grooves perfectly compliment Cielo’s setting and sit in harmonious juxtapose to Francois’ dreamy orchestrated electronica and beat-driven new wave French techno sets.
