Join us Saturday, January 9th, as SIMPLY BANGIN’ and KGB welcome back to Sullivan Room one of the most respected house dj’s on the planet, the “Godfather of Tech-House” himself... “EVIL” EDDIE RICHARDS (Fabric, Wiggle, UK)!!! As a resident at London's world-famous Fabric nightclub, and one-third of the Wiggle trio, Eddie’s name is synonymous with cutting edge British dance music. For more than 20 years, he has been a hugely influential figure on the UK scene, from DJing at some of the earliest British raves to starting up one of the first booking agencies (Dy-Na-Mix.) Join us as the original tech-house pioneer takes to the decks, bringing his unmistakable sound to the underground.
Joining him, is Sullivan Room favorite and long time resident DJ Fame (Dubsided, Potty Mouth). He released the first Sullivan Room CD in 2006, the 2nd under his Bit Crushers moniker in 2008, and has been behind the booth at Sullivan for over 6 years. On top of that, add a few remixes and originals on labels such as Dubsided, Perfecto, Potty Mouth, Little Mountain, Wearhouse, and more and it’s easy to see why Fame has had a busy past few years of out of town appearances on his schedule.
Alex Kofman (Elevator People) makes a very special appearance to Sully in celebration of his birthday.
Simply Bangin’ resident, Dirty Dan, makes his Sullivan Room debut as he gets the night opened up. Dan recently relocated back from Alaska, where he held down numerous residencies, FM radio shows, and built a major global following for his podcast. This past year, he also released his first set of original tunes on UK’s Underphunk and On Time/Rise Records.
