We close registration the 2nd Week (MONDAY, MARCH 16) of the Class Course. All of our programs are based on a Progressive 8 Week Class Cycle. This method has been proven to be one of the most effective method of learning how to dance correctly in a short period of time. There's no obligation to go on the full 8 Week Cycle you can take the Series in as little as a 4 Week Period or Pay-as-You-Go.
TIME: 7PM - 9PM
WHEN: MONDAYS, MARCH 9, 16, 23, 30; APRIL 6, 13, 20, 27
DESCRIPTION: This is class is for those wishing to dance with a person of the Same-Sex regardless of sexual preferences (ie Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Friends) and it is designed for those who have never danced before, danced very little, or those who dance Salsa ON 1. This class starts from the basics and moves through the essential steps to help you survive out there to feel confident enough to dance socially at parties and clubs. The first 1/2 hour of class will begin by breaking down the basic steps. 1 or 2 Shine (Individual Fancy Footwork) and Individual Turns. The next hour of class wil move into Partnering. Cindy will teach the Leaders how to develop strong leading techniques and will teach the Followers smoothness, elegant styling (Accents), and basic body movement skills. Each week you will learn new moves you can try on the dance floor, as well as creative ways to combine them and mix them up. Each week new steps and turns are taught and previous weeks' steps and turns patterns are reviewed.
RATES:
$15 PER CLASS
$55 FOR 4 CLASS SERIES
$100 FOR 8 CLASS SERIES
