Learn one of the world's most romantic dance with a fun. No experience or no partner needed. This class is Open. Drop/Walk-Ins Welcome. No need to register or sign up. Just show up and pay at the door. Come as you are, and come have a good time!
When: Thursday, March 19, 26; April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; May 7
Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm
Location: Pearl Studios NYC, 500 Eighth Avenue, between 35th and 36th Streets, 4th Floor, Room 401A, New York, NY 10018
Description: This class is designed for those who have never danced before, danced very little, or those who dance Salsa ON 1 and want to make a transcession to Salsa ON2. This class starts from the basics and moves through the essential steps to help you survive out there to feel confident enough to dance socially at parties and clubs. The class will begin by breaking down the basic steps, 1 or 2 solo footwork patterns and individual turns. The next hour of class wil move into partnering. Men/Leaders will learn how to develop strong leading techniques and Ladies/Followers will learn how to develop strong following techniques with smoothness, elegant styling (Accents), and basic body movement skills. Each week new steps and turns are taught and previous weeks' steps and turns patterns are reviewed.
Rates:
$15 Per Class
$55 for 4 Classes
$100 for 8 Classes
