Obama Pajama Party: Election Eve '08 NYC!
New York
City's trendy China 1 Antique Restaurant & Lounge is proud to host
an Election Evening Party. The "Obama-Pajama Election Eve" will rock
out in their jammies to support Obama, and raise money for United Way
for the Greater New Orleans Area.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Oct 08, 2008 – Election Day '08 is quickly approaching and many
of us will probably be sitting at home, nervously mulling over the
latest projections on CNN in our pajamas. However, this year, the
charitable China 1 Antique is offering New Yorkers a sexy, comfy and
altruistic alternative.
A collaboration between singer/songwriter Jennifer Logue and China
1 Owner, Andrew Krauss, this evening will feature live music, food and
drink specials, guest speakers, and of course, Obama supporters in
their pajamas. (OK, McCain supporters are welcome, too).
Large screens will project the election results live, starting at
6pm Tuesday, November 4th. The Obama Pajama Party will last until a new
president is determined - cheer or cry together. The musical line- up
will feature Days like Months, Jennifer Logue, DJ Lush, and A Million
Years. A small $3 admission charge at the door will go to the United
Way for Greater New Orleans Area. Why sit at home this election day
when you can celebrate your right to vote as well as support a good
cause? All while wearing your favorite flannels and fuzzy slippers.
China 1 is located at 50 Avenue B, in the East Village, just south of 4th street.
